Simulator airplane games are really the coolest games that I reckon have ever been made! They give us all the feeling that we are real-life pilots flying all of the world in all sorts of different airplanes. Simulator airplane games are as realistic as you can get when it comes to flying!

How are the graphics on the game? You don’t want to spend $100 on a flight sim game that has crappy graphics. What’s the point in simulator airplane games when it looks like you are flying a paper airplane? The point of the game is to be as realistic as possible. If the graphics lack reality, you are losing the most vital part of the game!

Does the game have accurate game play settings? What I mean by that is that the different planes, airports, surroundings, etc. accurately depict reality? Does O’Hare Airport really “look like” O’Hare Airport? Can I see Lake Michigan or the Sear’s Tower? What makes simulator airplane games so cool is that it makes you feel like you are really flying! If the scenery and settings are not as realistic as possible, what’s the point?

This is the most vital tip that I can give you. Can YOU play the game? There are so many different flight simulator games that try and out do each other, sometimes they forget that the user really needs to play the game! How much fun can simulator airplane games be if you can never really figure out how to play them? Make sure that you know you can really play the simulator game BEFORE you really buy it.
The last word of caution that I have for you is that a lot of simulator airplane games usually do not offer a money back guarantee. If you buy it through a retail store like Best Buy, check and see what their return policy is. There is nothing more disheartening is buying a flight simulator game that you do not like.
