Lazy Video Game Player Makes $150 or More Playing Video Games All Day: Is This for Real?

If you’ve been researching a game testing career, chances are you’ve come across phrases like these.  In our world, millions of gamers sit at home playing games all day, but very few of them really get paid for that.  In fact, most people pay to play games instead of the other way around.

Now, but, more gamers are looking into careers where they can spend every day doing their favorite activity: playing games.  The catch, though, is that no game testers start out making $150 or more.  This amount has to be gradually worked up to.

Beginning game testers usually make between $10-15 per hour, which isn’t too terrible.  After acquiring some experience and padding your resume a bit, you can easily bump that up to $30 an hour.  Then $50.  Professional testers usually make between $70-80 per hour, and sometimes up to $100, but it takes a lot of hard work and commitment to succeeding in the game testing field in order to get to that point.

So if you see something that advertises you’ll make $100+ STRAIGHT AWAY, that’s a lie, if you have no experience in the field.  Expect to spend time researching and learning how to become a game tester before you start seeing huge profits.  Now, if you see a site that says a bone idle video game player makes $150 PER DAY, that’s entirely possible, though it will take some work to get there.

$150 a day might not seem like a lot.  But consider that $150 x a week (7 days) is $1050.  $1050 x 4 weeks = $4200 a month.  That’s enough to support a respectable, modest lifestyle – and it’s not even the maximum amount you could be making once you’ve gathered a fantastic deal of experience and knowledge in the game testing field.

Be sure to research specific requirements before you apply for a game testing job.  There are age restrictions and usually experience requirements, though these differ depending on the company.

If you’re a bone idle video game player who wants to make $150 a day, or more, this could very well be worth your time and investment.
