Is it Hyprocritical to replace tobaco advertising with gambling advertising?

Written By: admin on November 13, 2009 One Comment

I found it a farce that we banned cigarett advertising in British sports only to replace if with betting advertising.
Could this be because the gambling buisiness may provide more funding for pollitical means than the tobaco buisness is willing to.

Gambling is also a negative activity that wrecks peoples & their families lifes, so moraly why replace one thing of this sort with another.

It is an utterly cynical way of raising revenue and seems on the face of it somewhat inconsistent with the measures which are being taken to control money laundering, despite the guidelines which have been introduced to regulate gambling. http://www.winneronline.com/articles/january2008/ukgcguidelines.htm
